Gypsy, Roma and Traveller project (Swale)

We offer support for individuals and families in Swale facing inequality and disadvantage. Our GRT caseworker has built trusted relationships within the community, establishing regular outreach sessions – safe and accessible spaces where people can ask for help and receive support.

We can provide practical, wraparound assistance with finances, housing issues, food insecurity, access to services, and experiences of discrimination. Follow-up support is offered both by phone and in person to ensure people continue to receive the help they need.

Our aim is to reduce inequalities faced by GRT communities and improve connections between the GRT community and wider services. In the long term, we hope this will lead to better health outcomes, reduced deprivation, and stronger, more positive relationships with the wider community.
